The Holiday Season

Christmas has come and gone and now I must wait a few more days until we celebrate the beginning of a new year and my anniversary. I had an amazing Christmas, full of family, friends, and wonderful gifts and food. I am most excited about finding the perfect spot for my life size James Dean cardboard cut out. I know, I am a total nerd but it is pretty cool looking.

I have felt like such an old lady lately. I have been so tired, and havent wanted to do anything. Drew cleaned the house yesterday. It looks amazing! I am so glad he is so amazing. By the time I get home from work all I want to do is eat and go to bed. Cleaning doesnt seem to fit on my list. I have managed to some laundry and dishes though. Tonight I am going to go through my closet and maybe get rid of a few things that I dont wear anymore.

Heather was in town this week and once again I missed her. Damn stomach bug! I hope she makes it back to Nebraska safely, and that hopefully we will see eachother soon. I wish I could take a few days off soon and make it up there, but being my only employee Im not sure how that would work.

BRRRR!!!

It's freezing here! Yesterday there was a little bit of snow and some ice on my car, but not enough to close anything. I feel like if its going to be cold there should at least be enough snow or ice to where I can stay home in my warm little house with my puppies.

I have a rant, and am hoping that the person I am ranting about wont read this blog. (Doubt they will, I don't think they have the brains to figure out there is a link on my facebook.) Some people are just dumb. I'm sorry but some people just are. I happen to know one person who I believe falls into this particular category. Everything this person says causes me to lose braincells, and her actions... well we just wont even go there. Anyway I cant go into too many details because I dont want to start drama (actually I do, but I shouldnt).

My puppies are doing fabulous! They really hate this cold weather too! I am excited about their first snow.
School is over for a while! Thank goodness. I turned in my final test last night and of course I got an A on the test and in the class. I wish I could say I was looking foward to Christmas break, but since I am working I dont really get one. Bummer! I am excited for Christmas though and spending time with my family. Heather is coming into town and Im pretty sure the worlds tallest pixistix tower will be built! There is something about flavored sugar and friends that makes the world a happier place.

Lets start this first blog out by saying that my life is pretty much as perfect as it can be... Seriously. I live with my AMAZING boyfriend Drew (Im 99.9% sure he is "the one"). Over the past 4 months we have added to adorable Basset Hounds to our family. Humphrey Bogart is 6 months old, and Norma Jeane is 10 weeks. They take up all of my spare time. I finally joined the family business, and most of the time I like it. I miss not having Saturdays off, but other than that its ok.

I have made the decision to take a semester off from school. I needed a break, before I started to pull my hair out. I really would like to finish my education degree at some point though. Until then I will continue to work, and relax, and focus on my family.

I have decided that Norman is a great town to live in (if you can get passed the sooner fans). There is always something going on.
It is almost closing time!
